Prof. Christy Cheung served as the Faculty mentor for HICSS 2024 Doctoral Consortium which was held at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort Honolulu Hawaii 2024. Her paper, “Zoombombing: Understanding We-Intention to Engage in Collective Trolling among Online Community Members through the Social Identity Model of Deindividuation Effects“, co-authored with her PhD student, Grace Gao, was nominated for the Best Paper Award.
