Congratulations to the 20 HKBU researchers who are listed in the Global Academic Impact Rankings 2023! Three of them are ranked top 10 in China in their specialised disciplines:
– Professor Jianhua Zhang (HKBU Faculty of Science) – 2nd in Crop Science
– Professor Christy Cheung (HKBU School of Business) – 3rd in Library Information and Archives Management
– Professor Tiejun Tong (HKBU Faculty of Science) – 7th in Statistics
The Global Scholar Academic Impact Rankings 2023 was published by the academic literature query and analysis system named “www.globalauthorid.com”, which provides detailed assessments of the academic impact of global scholars and institutions. As of September 30, 2023, the database has included over 151 million journal/conference papers, with reference and citation relationships totalling more than 1.7 billion.
