The MIS Research Paper Development Workshop was successfully held from 12th to 18th July, 2023. The workshop was organized by the faculty members from the information systems discipline, MM&IS Department, School of Business. The workshop involved PhD students and faculty members from the MM&IS department, four editorial board members from top IS journals (e.g., MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of the Association for Information Systems), outstanding young researchers from overseas universities (e.g., the University of Queensland, University of Manchester, and Leicester University), and audience from the City University of Hong Kong, Nanyang Technological University, and Beijing Institute of Technology. According to the comments and feedback received from both distinguished guests and students and faculty presenters, this MIS Research Paper Development Workshop served as a platform for researchers from the School of Business, particularly PhD students and junior faculties, to demonstrate their solid research ability, forefront research ideas, and great research potential, as well as a channel to build strong research connections with world-leading scholars and get constructive feedbacks from experienced editorials board members.
